HOW TO CLEAN YOUR JEWELRY?
Our jewelry is handcrafted with special materials, and each material requires a different type of cleaning procedure.
If you have any doubts, visit any of our stores and we will be happy to assist you.
SILVER-PLATED PIECES
You must take into account that sterling silver can become dark due to exposure to air and light or, in some specific cases, due to some types of skin’s pH.
To clean this type of pieces we recommend using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive silver cleaner to avoid damage.
GOLD-PLATED PIECES
We recommend using a soft cotton cloth weekly on the jewelry to keep it in good condition.
If the piece is a little dirtier, you can moisten the cloth with warm water and neutral soap, and after cleaning your jewelry, you should dry it with a dry soft cloth or piece of paper. Be careful with leather and any stones or crystals because they may require a different cleaning procedure.
LEATHER
Wetting leather is not the best idea due to its composition. To clean pieces with leather, you can apply moisturizing cream without dyes or odor. Then, rub the piece with a dry cotton cloth and let it air dry.
RESINS
To enhance the shine of the beads and charms on your jewelry, we recommend using a soft cloth.
CRYSTALS & GLASS:
If you want to clean crystals or glass, you should use a soft cotton cloth.
HOW TO STORE YOUR JEWELRY?
To keep your jewelry looking as good as new, you should store your jewelry in individual bags, in its original packaging or in a closed box. Try to avoid contact with air, direct light or humidity.
Keep in mind that jewelry is greatly affected by external pH, so it is important to avoid, as much as possible, contact with perfumes or other cosmetics/cleaning products. In addition, we recommend taking them off while showering or when doing intense exercise, especially when swimming in the sea or in chlorinated pools.
